PORT ADELAIDE has added two Category B rookies to its list in Next Generation Academy players Martin Frederick and Kai Pudney.

Both have been part of the club’s Multicultural and Indigenous Next Generation Academy, as Fredericks is of South Sudanese descent and Pudney of Japanese descent.

The duo trained with the Port Adelaide AFL group during the 2018 pre-season and also represented South Australia in a championship-winning under 18 national team this year.

Pudney also won the 2018 2018 McCallum-Tomkins Medal as the finest player in the SANFL Under 18s competition, and impressed at the South Australian Combine in October by winning the Yo-Yo and agility tests against other draft hopefuls.
