PORT Adelaide has never been beaten in Alice Springs, and that record will remain intact with the Power no longer scheduled to play a game for points in the Top End.
The Power has been Melbourne's opponent in the red centre for the past three years - winning all three matches - but will be absent from the billing in 2017.
Instead, it will be the Gold Coast Suns who are hosted by the Dees in the Sir Doug Nicholls Indigenous Round in round 10.
They will play the Crows in Darwin later in the year.
The full 2017 fixture will be released on Thursday.
