The Childhood Cancer Association is Port Adelaide’s official charity partner for their last home game - Showdown XLI - on Saturday night.

The Childhood Cancer Association is one of Australia's key childhood cancer support organisations, dedicated to supporting children living with cancer and their families.

Since its establishment in 1982 by a group of parents with children living with cancer, the Childhood Cancer Association has been supporting families from South Australia, Northern Territory and country Victoria and New South Wales.

These support services include professional counselling, daily hospital visits, sibling support, accommodation for country and interstate families, respite accommodation, financial assistance, education support and bereavement support.

The Childhood Cancer Association relies solely on the generous support of the community to enable it to continue to provide vital services and support to families in need.

Volunteers will be collecting monetary donations outside the gates at Adelaide Oval on Saturday night.
